These terms govern your use of the FastPace app for iOS. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. FastPace is intended for adults.

What FastPace is

FastPace is a timer and an educational companion for intermittent fasting: it counts your fasting window, describes the metabolic phases commonly associated with fasting, and lets you log water and weight. It is a wellness tool. It is not a medical device and it does not give medical advice.

Health and safety

Fasting is not suitable for everyone. Do not fast if you are pregnant or nursing, if you have or have had an eating disorder, or if you are a minor. If you have any medical condition or take medication, talk to your doctor before fasting. Stop fasting and eat if you feel unwell. The phase descriptions in the app are general educational content, not statements about your body.

Subscriptions

The optional FastPace+ subscription (monthly or yearly) unlocks the full history, statistics, phase detail and charts. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them any time in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. There is no free trial.

Your data

Your fasts, water and weight entries are stored on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them. FastPace has no accounts and no server-side copy, so we cannot restore data for you — if you want a backup, keep your device backed up with iCloud or your computer.

Acceptable use

FastPace is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control, under the standard Apple licensed-application terms.

No warranty

FastPace is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions you make about eating or fasting.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. The date above shows the current version; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
